NEW ENGLAND BANNISTER-BACK ARMCHAIR, shaped crest rail and arms, fine baluster turnings throughout, woven-rush seat. Likely later painted surface. Second half 18th century. 46 1/4" HOA, 15 1/4" x 21" seat.
Very good visual condition with minor usage wear. Seat probably replaced. Possible areas of restoration concealed by painted surface.
