Condition: Excellent. A nice strike on thick paper. Handsomely hand-colored. Very slight toning. Issued centerfold.

A handsome map of the Northern Netherlands, showing Holland, Groningen, Frysland, Drenthe, Overijssel and the Dutch islands. The expected detail as to topography, including rivers, canals, sandbars and marshes, and towns. The political borders are attractively colored. The cartouche area is adorned with a pastoral landscape.

Antonio Zatta (1722-1804) was an Italian cartographer who created the 4 volume atlas of the world, Atlante Novissimo.
