**First Time At Auction**

Pre-Columbian, Colombia, Middle Cauca, ca. 1000 to 1500 CE. An intriguing group of cylindrical terracotta roller stamps, each one carved/modeled with a mesmerizing design motif: waves, stylized crosses, striated bands, running stitches, and headless figures. Two have red pigment remaining on the surface. Stamps like this would have been used to decorate fabric, wooden objects, as well as human skin. Size: largest measures 1.875" L x 1.125" in diameter (4.8 cm x 2.9 cm)

Normal surface wear to all, roller with stylized cross with a few nicks, roller with running stitch motif with a small repair at the end, but the group is in overall very good condition. Lucite box in photo not included.
