Description
A handwritten letter by Max Karl Ernst Ludwig Planck (1858-1947). He won the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1918. This letter, written to a Professor Dennert, is dated 1912. The postmarked envelope is included. Letter is four panel 4.5 x 7, envelope is 4.675 x 3.75 inches. Letter and envelope in very good condition. And a handwritten postcard by Algernon Charles Swinburne (1837-1909). He was a poet, playwright, novelist, and critic. This postcard is addressed to Chatto & Windus, publishers, regarding the receipt of a cheque. Postmarked Jan. 1901. Measures 4.75 x 3 inches. In very good condition.
