Extremely scarce first edition of the Remington-illustrated special edition. No list of the 77 illustrations by Frederick Remington which indicates the first edition. Very clean and presentable. Beautiful blue, red, black and gilt decorative design on cover cloth; gilt design on spine. TEG. Wonderfully clean example with minor wear only at extremities. Lower tips rubbed, upper tips just barely starting to show in a very tiny area. Minimal wear to spine ends with four tiny tears at top and some small bits of fraying at bottom. A beautiful example of a scarce, special edition. Published by Little, Brown and Company. 411 pages. Size: 6.5 x 9
