Condition
Both are in fine condition. There is a little roughness and minor chips to the back side of the crests.
Both are sturdy. Beautifully upholstered, and clean. Excellent detail to the carving. As most of the wood
surface is either painted or gilded, it is hard to determine what kind of wood they are made from;
however, the wood is dense and heavy and probably beechwood.
