Chinese Carved Hardwood Low Table
late 19th/early 20th century, having a sectional panel top set within a thick rectangular frame with a carved and pierced frieze centered on each side by a shou medallion flanked by ruyi bats, deer and double gourd plants, raised on four short legs terminating in scroll feet.

Condition
In overall good condition. The surface has been polished and exhibits minor mars, wear, shrinkage and
imperfections.
Usable and functional. The table seems sturdy when bumped. Upon close inspection, one leg is very
slightly loose.
There are scattered past re-glued repairs to the fretwork apron, and a glued-down splinter on the top.
