Description

A very pretty pair of antique Art Nouveau Chenets or Andirons. The Chenets are made of cast iron with a bronze toned finish and have a lovely sinuous form, they are a perfect example of Art Nouveau. Each Chenets measures 13 3/4" high x 9" wide x 5" deep, they are quite heavy. The pair is in very good overall condition with no chips or cracks in the cast iron. They do have some spotting to the finish and one of the bolts in the back was replaced, see photos. The Chenets would be lovely in an antique Art Nouveau decor.
