Figural Eros Lamp with Mother of Pearl Shades. Large nude figure of Eros (Greek counterpart of Cupid) is seated on top of a fluted plinth, holding a torch in one hand, his quiver of arrows and bow are at his feet; has long filigree limbs branching up behind him with flowers at the ends. The 4 larger flowers contain single sockets with large 4 petal mother of pearl shades with clamp fitters at the base of the bulbs. Sculpture is unsigned, has a nice medium brown finish, in good condition with no damage to the lamp or shades. 28.75 in. high x 16 in. wide x 16 in. deep. Weight: 29.5 lbs.
