A gold flat-section hoop with running band of lozenges; faux buckle, loop and keeper hinged to conceal an inner chamber for a lock of hair; inscribed 'MBW' in copperplate to the inner face. 3.35 grams, 22mm overall, 18.78mm internal diameter (approximate size British R, USA 8 3/4 Europe 19.0, Japan 18) (1"). Property of North West London gentleman; acquired from a London collector in the late 1990s; previously in a private collection formed in the late 1980s-early 1990s.
