Chinese Qian Long Sword With Jade Hilt:
A rare elaborate presentation sword with a carved jade hilt, filigreed embellishments in gold gilt, and an inlaid wooden scabbard. The bronze mounts have dragon patterns. The steel blade is channeled and has designs in white, yellow, and copper. White characters border one end of these designs. The tassel attached to the hilt has gold gilt bronze beads with bezel-set stones and a large jade center bead. The box lid is carved and incised with characters.
