Description
Reed and Barton (American (Taunton, Massachusetts), founded 1824). A group of three sterling silver serving pieces in the "Windsor" pattern comprising a rectangular vegetable dish and a gravy boat with matching underplate. Each hallmarked for Reed & Barton, "STERLING" and "Windsor". The vegetable dish also marked "X959" and date symbol for 1940. Approximate height 2", width 10.75", depth 7.75", weight 15.26 troy ounces. The gravy boat also marked "X958G", date symbol for 1941 and retailed by "Cartier". Approximate height 3.25", width 7.25" (spout to handle), depth 4.12", weight 7.38 troy ounces. The underplate monogrammed to the front center and also marked "X958G" and retailed by "Cartier". Approximate width 7", depth 5.37", weight 5.01 troy ounces.
