Matched pair of Continental polychrome and giltwood decorated torchieres, likely theater/opera props, each surmounted with lyre shaped surround decorated to one side with berried laurel and a pair of scissors (possibly referencing the opera "The Barber of Seville"), the other drapery swags, raised on a cylindrical and leaf-carved shaft with iron support on circular wood stepped base. Approximate height 92.12", diameter of base 18".
