Two Commemorative Brass Medals from the Trans-Mississippi and International Exposition, Omaha NE, 1898,
Including one by S.D. Childs & Co. Engravers, Chicago. The smaller medal, known as a 'So-Called Dollar', depicts on the obverse a composite of the 'Most Beautiful Women of the Trans-Mississippi Country' and on the reverse a mounted Native American spearing a buffalo, which was designed by T.R. Kimball.
Largest dimensions: dia: 2 1/2 in.
