Robert Love Taylor, silver pommeled walking stick, 19th/early 20th c., silver handle with engraved inscription "Presented to Hon. R.L. Taylor, Hickory Club, Lewisburg, Tenn.", unmarked and untested, 36.25"l - Note: Robert Love Taylor (American, 1850-1912) was an American politician, writer, and lecturer. He served as Governor of Tennessee in the late 19th c. and served as a U.S. Senator from 1907 until his death.
