Gardani started working andexperimenting with different materials and techniques, on his Paintings and Sculptures.Entirely self-taught, he had his first solo exhibition in his native, Quito, (1987).It's when he realized, that is what he wants to do for the rest of his life.He knows to fulfill that dream he had to leave his problematic political country.He traveled to Peru, Colombia, Venezuela, Mexico, until finally he ended upin the U.S. in 1989. He had continued traveling to Brazil, England, Italy, France,China, Honduras, Puerto Rico… in order to visit the major Art Museums. He believesthat is the best school to learn the higher expressions of Art.Gardani, still remains true to his initial spirit of enjoying Art in the Magic Realism form,which he has been practicing for more than twenty years.
