DC : Batman June 1966 No. 181 “ Beware of Poison Ivy!” Rated 7.5 to 8.0 ( VF- to VF)“ Beware of Poison Ivy!” issue of Batman from the 12 cent Silver Age, includes “ Extra: Double Page Pin-up of Batman & Robin!” in the center of the book. This comic is rated as between 7.5 and 8.0 based on CBCS and other criteria. The overall excellent eye appeal, high reflectivity and gloss of the cover with minimal handling wear is marred by the printing and/or bindery defects that impact 7 interior pages on the lower edge, tears of up to ¼ by ¼ in with associated losses to the bottom edge of these pages does not impact outside of margins. Pages are cream and supple, staples are fairly centered with no color break lines or staple stress noted. Spine is tight and flat. Corners have slight blunting. There is a 1/16 to 1/8 in color chip from bottom edge of front cover. Top of spine shows a hint of rubbing wear. Appearance of a very lightly read and gently handled silver age comic. Back cover advertisement is for ‘ Vac-U-Form ‘ toy by Mattel. Back cover shows light rubbing ink transfer from stacking with other print material.
