A fantastic vintage sterling silver hinged bracelet, perfect for a man or a woman. This bracelet is a Taxco Mexican Silver classic; it has a bold and minimal mid-century modern look. Each bar of silver is hollow, and hand-made into soft rectangular forms. The bracelet is marked in the interior with a Mexico stamp, and it is initialed by its maker- Reveri. Reveriano and Maria Castillo made up Reveri team, which apprenticed under Spratling and began making their own masterpieces in the 1940's. Early works such as this are characterized by complex linking of many small pieces to create patterns and weavings. The bracelet is designed so that a central link connects to the others, unifying the repeating link pattern. It also comes with a safety chain which is marked 925. The bracelet is a perfect unisex gift, and a good size of 7.75 inches in length. It weighs 30 grams.
