Vibrant colors representative of Marcial Camilo's work in the early 1980's. Impressive sky and scene full of details.
Bio:
Mexican folk artist Marcial Camilo was a Nahau from the village of San Agustin Oapan, Mexico. Much of his work depicts life in the Rio Balsas Valley, located in the Mexican state of Guerrero. Marcial's work can be found in the National Museum of the American Indian Collection. In 2009, the exhibition "Marcial Camilo Ayala" was held at the Pascal Gallery at Ramapo College of New Jersey.
