framed 14 1/2" x 16 1/2"
Provenance: Dr. Bob Brictson Collection.
Framed in a vintage hand carved Haitian frame.
Lot essay:
Prior to becoming an artist, Ducasse worked for a governmental agriculture agency. He is renowned for historical and musical scenes. On a US sojourn, one of several, he painted narrative Haitian events with wintry upstate New York backgrounds.
