A fantastic antique 21K yellow gold scarab bracelet. Handsomely constructed with 7 Egyptian steatite scarabs of similar size and shape, all from the New Kingdom, 1570 – 1075 BC, except for one which dates from the 2nd Intermediate Period, c. 1750 – 1570 BC, the inscriptions mainly for luck or good wishes but one with a sphinx and another with a crocodile and lion particularly nice.
