Including sixteen hand-colored lithographs of "A cotton classer", "Sugar broker and weigher", "Bel Calas, bel calas tout chauds! (Merchant of Rice fritters)", "Chactaw (sic) indian squaws", "Tam...tam tam...ad infinitum. The geinman (sic) that beats the drum for the man that sells", "Appoloy cheapay, Madama, fyfee cents la dozena! (Apples cheap, Madam, five cents a dozen)", "The Merry Roustabouts", "Ting ta fixee, Madam! (Anything to fix, Madam)", "On the flags, (selling imaginary stocks at real prices)", "The Flag covers the merchandise", "Marchand latenier! (Merchant of the Palmetto Root)", "O! O-yta. sallay ! (Oysters, salty!)", "Rrrrramonah! (Chimney Sweep)", "Eks! Fresh Eks! tres por oun dima (Eggs! three for a dime)", "Ice-cream a la vanille!", and "Rose.
