Description
The passport of Prawer Tanbe, born in 1910, Poland. Left Germany and sailed from Marseille, France to the Israel in May 1948, several weeks after the declaration of independence.
On the title page: Military Government for Germany.
pp. 5: valid only for the above countries [in handwriting] "France-Palestine" from 1.5.48 to 1.11.48. Has left from bad Salzuflen Germany. Two stamps.
pp. 6: two stamps of Marseille, 17.5.48, arrived Marseille france.
pp. 8: Hebrew stamps Haifa 30.5.48 and Beit Ha'Meches 3.6.48. Handwritten: "Has declared six packages only ? two packages have been released".
pp. 9: stamp of the British supervisor of the passport in Germany 30.4.48. valid for on etrip only. Handwritten: "Palestine". An additional stamp: "British Visa Seotion Germany".

Condition: Good. A few stains on the binding.
