Description
This small building was constructed from a Sid Cooke (UK) kit purchased at the London Dolls House Company. It contains two floors: the barber shop on the first floor and the flat of an entomologist (study of insects) on the second floor. In planning the building, the purpose of the second floor came to light when Diane Birnberg bought a great entomologist's work desk made by UK artist, Maureen Ballantyne (retired). With the idea for the second floor, Diane commissioned Alice Zinn (USA) to create the OOAK doll to represent the entomologist. He is named "Artemis Zinn" to honor Alice for her work. Alice also made all the flat's "bugs" and Diane made the displays.
