Description
Chinese porcelain arrow vase, of a cylindrical body, with angled shoulder gently tapered toward tall straight neck supporting the faring rim, raised on a splayed concave base. Covered overall with a soft creme-grayish glaze suffused with a fine crackle ending at the bottom of the foot rim to expose the dark-grey ware burnt orange at the edges. Elegantly presented upon a carved hardwood stand.
Mark on base, a six blue seal script -ZhuanShu- characters reign mark, YongZheng Reign Period of Great Qing.

The private collections of Earl Sorensen, based out of Atlanta, is known as a prominent Buddha collector. A International businessman whom trades with various Asian countries during the 1960s. On a business trip in Western China, he received a Buddha statue as gift from a monk. Since then, he has became fascinated with Buddhist artifacts and Eastern cultures. After many decades, Earl Sorensen has planned his retirement, and decided to pass his beloved collections to appreciate collectors. Earl Sorensen's collections can be found from Lot-55 through Lot-65, and from Lot-93 through Lot-110.
