A pair of Austrian gilded silver and plique-a-jour enamel glass holders, Georg Adam Scheid, Vienna, circa 1900. The cagework glass holders formed as rows of brightly-colored tulips and leaves in shades of red and blue, the undersides engraved with a retailer's mark of Vienna jewelry and clock shop Franz Hiess & Soehne. 1610-005. Dimensions: 1 3/4 h x 1 1/2 dia. in. (4.2 x 3.7 cm).
