The latter was an important and well known writer, philosopher and economist who worked in Naples in the second half of the eighteenth century. The three books here discuss the concept of logic, a definition of the ars cogitandi seu philosophandi , the nature of the human soul, ideas and statements, the distinction between truth and falsehood and between faith and science, the capacity of humans to assess the divine, and finally the correct use of reason, the method of analysis and syllogisms.
