The movement numbered: 15403, with ship's maker's mark stamped: JLF / EMS, retailer's stamp: J.E. Caldwell & Co. / Philadelphia, further marked: C.R.C. / C.R. Crookshank / 21568 / PA
The circular white-enameled floral garland-adorned face with Arabic numeral hour markers, attached to a two-train movement, within a waisted rocaille and foliate-molded case surmounted by a seated putto holding back a bridled dragon, on scroll feet
18.75" H x 12.325" W x 6.25" D
Provenance: Private Collection, Pasadena, CA.

Condition

Overall good condition with scattered scuffs and wear commensurate with age. Winds, runs and stops. Moran's does not guarantee working condition of clocks and watches. Repairs to topmost rocaille element; putto may be a later replacement. Two small elements apparently deficient from top of case. Lacking key.
