Dial signed: A.B. Griswold & Co. / New Orleans; movement marked: CJ / CC within a rectangle, further stamped: 4349 / 48
The waisted gilt bronze-mounted porcelain case gilt and hand-painted with floral garlands and sprays on a light blue ground, further reserved with a scene of putti among clouds, centering a porcelain dial with conforming floral decoration and black Roman numeral hour markers, attached to a two-train movement, raised overall on rocaille feet, with key, together with a pair of five-light gilt bronze and porcelain candelabra, 3 pieces
The clock: 16.125" H x 10" W x 5.875" D; each candelabrum: 15.75" H x 7" W x 7.5" D
Provenance: Private Collection, Pasadena, CA.

Condition

Overall good condition with minor wear and darkening to bronze commensurate with age. Scattered losses to gold paint. Clock winds, runs and stops. Moran's does not guarantee working condition of clocks and watches. Scattered nicks and chips to candelabra. One candelabrum totters.
