Each carved serpentine frame centering a foliate crest, upholstered in floral tapestries, on floral and foliate-carved cabriole legs, 2 pieces
Each: 37" H x 26" W x 26.5" D
Provenance: Private Collection, Malibu, CA.

Condition

Each in overall good condition with general wear, fading and tears to upholstery. Scattered nicks, scratches, scuffs and some separation at joints. One with repairs to both arms and reinforced shrinkage cracks to upper back; the other with repairs to arms at joint with seat and toprail likely replaced. Evidence of woodworm.
