TWO GEORGIAN SILKWORK PANELS. Comprising a large embroidered and sample-stitched biblical scene with angels and temple in background and remnant inscription dated 1812. The second applique-stitched with four animal forms including lion, horse and cow surrounding a centered possibly-monument shape. 18 inches (45.7 cm) x 20 inches (50.8 cm) and 12 inches square (30.5 cm). Not illustrated.
