Rare koyao "fish-roe crackled" planter. Of square body with gently flared sides, supported on a flanged base with bracket corners on four short legs, covered all over with a mottled ash gray glaze suffused with a network of dense "fish roe" crackles, five spur marks in the interior, 6.4"w. Provenance: Property of a Vancouver, Canada estate, purchased from Yamanaka, London. Accompanying this lot is a photocopy of original receipt (see item 1) dated July 21, 1962
