Description
A HENRY WILKINSON VICTORIAN STERLING SILVER PARTIAL LUNCHEON SERVICE, SHEFFIELD, ENGLAND, CIRCA 1864-1865, comprising twelve forks and ten knives, the handles with interlaced beaded decoration separating hammered heart shaped and oval cabochons at the terminal and similar beaded decoration with shells at the base, with sterling blades and tines, marks: (lion passant), (crown), (duty mark), "HW (over) & CO.," "W," (registration mark). Total approximate weight: 32.54 troy ounces. (22) NOTE: The design for this pattern was registered with the British Patent Office in 1858 under patent number 116191.
Condition
in overall good condition with minor surface scratching commensurate with age and use.
