Description
After Fra Angelico (talian, 1395-1455), mid to late 19th century. A pair of ecclesiastical prints, each depicting an angel with a musical instrument in an architectural Gothic Revival giltwood frame, having an arched opening flanked by scrolled columns, and accented with decorative finials and a spire. Apparently unmarked. Overall 30" x 9.875", sight 17.75" x 6". Provenance: Property from Estate of Mr. William P. Hale (co-owner of antiques store, The Orient Express located in Buckhead with Mr. Charles L. Mann), Atlanta, Georgia.
