Description
Continental, late 19th/early 20th century. A draw leaf trestle table, with a rectangular top, with a satinwood and burl wood matchbook veneered top, centered with a marquetry inlay diamond, over a conforming satinwood veneer apron, inset with a single drawer, the sides sliding out to form a dining table, resting on two carved mahogany trestle supports, each with a carved and turned urn flanked by open scrolls, with a pierced stretcher, on fluted, incurvate shoe feet. Apparently unmarked. Approximate height 29.5", width 60", depth (open) 36", depth (closed) 23.5".
