Description
Erich Oehme (German, 1889-1970) for Meissen (German, founded 1710), 20th century. A "Maestoso" porcelain blanc de chine horse head figurine, mounted on a black wooden stand. Marked with crossed swords mark indicating production post-1934 in blue, incised with crossed swords over Weiß, and signed and dated. Approximate height 8.75". width 7.25", depth 5.5". Provenance: From the Private Collection of Susan Knowles of Atlanta, Georgia.
