Description
Reed and Barton (American (Taunton, Massachusetts), founded 1824). A set of five sterling silver serving dishes or bowls in the 'Francis I" pattern comprising four medium size footed bon bon bowls and a oval footed vegetable bowl. All hallmarked for Reed & Barton, "STERLING" and "FRANCIS I". All bon bon bowls stamped "X569F", three with date codes for 1952, 1954 and 1955. Approximate height of bon bon bowls 2.12", diameter 8", total weight of all four 42.83 troy ounces. Vegetable bowl with no date code and stamped "X566F". Approximate height of vegetable bowl 3", width 12.5", depth 9.87", weight 21.92 troy ounces.
