Description
Continental, likely French, first half 20th century. A Louis XVI style neoclassical vitrine or display cabinet, having a bombe form and allover polychromed in beige with painted gilt detailing, having a molded top with applied urn detailing, over two paneled cabinet doors, each decorated with ribboned laurel wreaths and a horn and torch and inset with glass, opening to reveal interior glass shelves, with chamfered corners decorated with bellflower drops, with a foliated and molded apron on four incurvate legs terminating in scrolled feet. Apparently unmarked. Approximate height 88.5", width 54.25", depth 18".
