Description
Von Schierholz (German, founded circa 1817), 20th century. A porcelain potpourri jar, having a urn-shaped form, the lid topped with a floral bouquet, with scrolled handles to either side, and a mounted with a pair of putti and three-dimensional flowers, with hand-enameled and gilt accents. Marked to underside. Approximate height 10.5", diameter (including handles) 6.5". Provenance: From the Private Collection of Susan Knowles of Atlanta, Georgia.
