Utagawa Kunisada (Utagawa Toyokuni III), (Japanese, 1786-1865), "Kameyama: (Actor Matsumoto Koshiro VI as) Fujikawa Mizuemon"-1852, from the series Fifty-three Stations of the Tokaido Road, woodblock print in colors on paper, with assorted inscriptions and seals, signed to lower left . Traditional Japanese woodblock print depicting face of Kubuki actor playing samurai with sword slung over right shoulder. Framed approximately 22.75" x 18.25". Sight approximately 13" x 9.25". Provenance: Property from Estate of Mr. William P. Hale (co-owner of antiques store, The Orient Express located in Buckhead with Mr. Charles L. Mann), Atlanta, Georgia.
