Description
Continental, early 20th century. A Neoclassical style gilt metal chandelier, having a central circular support mounted with scrolled foliated and ribbon fretwork, with six mounted caryatid faces, each supporting an upturned candle arm ,with a scrolled rope motif, with a candle cup and a decorative candle fixture, suspended from a chain mount and a decorative ceiling cap. Approximate height (of chandelier only) 12.75", diameter 30.25". Provenance: Property from Estate of Mr. William P. Hale (co-owner of antiques store, The Orient Express located in Buckhead with Mr. Charles L. Mann), Atlanta, Georgia.
