Henredon (American, (North Carolina), founded 1945). A matched pair of oversized gold leaf library chairs having scrolled back, seat, removable cushion and elbow rests covered in a cobalt fabric with velvet raised diamonds and accompanied with a patterned gold silk removable back pillow, raised on squat cabriole legs terminating in scrolled toes. Tag under seat "HENDREDON UPHOLSTERY COLLECTION". Approximate height 45", width 30.5" (seat), seat depth 28", seat height 20".
