Description
Royal Crown Derby (English, founded 1750) for Tiffany & Co. (American, founded 1837), 1900. A set of 10 porcelain luncheon or dinner plates in pattern 4541, each having Imari style decoration, with a central floral medallions surrounded by a cobalt border with gilt scrolled accents, with three salmon colored cartouches with gilt stippled decoration. Each with red Royal Crown Derby mark with vertical England over Tiffany to reverse signifying production circa 1891-1921, with impressed Derby, and date mark indicating manufacture in 1900. Approximate height 0.75", diameter 8.5".
Condition
Very minor rubbing to gilt edges. A couple of plates with minor utensil marks; not distracting. Flake under the rim of one plate.
