Description
A Louis XV style lady's slant front writing desk. Likely French. Late 19th / early 20th century. Bookmatched veneered hardwood body with slant top opening to four letter boxes and five pigeon holes and inlaid leather writing surface above two over one drawers with gilt neo -classical escutcheons. Bottom has slightly scalloped skirt and delicate cabriole legs with ormolu sabot. 36"h x 32"w x 18"d.
Condition: Scratches, scuffs, and cracks to veneer. Some loose hardware. Wear to leather writing surface.
