CHINESE BRASS INLAID PEWTER GU (WINE VESSEL), H 9 1/2":Flaring squared neck with inlaid brass panels of scholars and butterflies, the matching base is separated by a central bombe bulb. Measures overall H.9 1/2" x 3 1/2" x 3 1/2". From the collection of Mrs. G. G. Scranton, international traveler from the late 1900's to the mid twentieth century. Friend and patron of Mrs. Dagny Carter, a notable scholar, influenced this collection.
