Description

Full-Sized Violin by D.A. Hamilton of South Portland, Maine (who was also a painter), with label marked 1926, s/n 29, Cremona pattern, finely crafted from rampant tiger maple, beautifully carved scroll, very nicely proportioned. In hard case with four unmarked bows (three damaged, one missing tip.) The violin is in good condition, needs restringing. Hamilton was a well-known Maine luthier.
