Description
PILLAR-MOLDED LARGE OPEN COMPOTE, colorless, deep hemispherical bowl with eight wide ribs and flared plain rim, raised on a bold medial-knop stem and thick circular foot with polished pontil mark. Probably Pittsburgh area. 1850-1870. 8 3/4" H, 9 1/4" D rim, 6" D foot.
