Glazed ceramic. hina – south east Asia, presumably 17th – 19th century
An interestingly formed vase with clear celadon glaze; round, compact body with long neck. In the middle of the neck is a ring and just below the mouth a prominently ribbed bead. The fine craquelure is uneven and denser and some points. The glaze’s color very green in the recesses. Deposits on the angular, protruding foot. This vase most likely came from the region around China’s border to south east Asia, most likely Siam to Annam.
