Item Details

Description

Vellum glaze vase wonderfully decorated with pink and red wild roses and having four butterflies, the work of Lenore Asbury in 1928. Marks include the Rookwood logo, date, shape 2441, an incised V for Vellum glaze and Ms. Asbury’s initials. There is a tight 3 inch line mid body that is barely visible and a 1/4 inch bruise at one of the small flower heads. Height is 14 1/8 inches. Crisp design.
