Description
Rare Markham Pottery vase (probably the Arabesque line) made in Michigan prior to the 1913 move to California. Raised patterns of leaves, stems and flowers in green and brown on a tan ground. Incised Markham 3366. Height 10 3/8 inches. There is a tight, 1/2 inch, firing separation at the rim. One of the largest Markham Pottery vases and one of the most interesting in terms of design.
